Savills has released its sales catalogue in preparation for its December auction. The sale will take place in The Ballroom, Claridge’s Hotel, Brook Street, London, W1 on Monday 10 December 2007 at 2.30pm.
The catalogue consists of 43 lots, with guide prices totalling approximately £40 million. It includes instructions from Thames River Capital, AXA REIM, Churchill College Cambridge, Craegmoor Healthcare Limited, Irish Life, and St John's College Oxford, amongst others.
James Cannon, head of commercial auctions, says: "The private investor continues to show confidence in the auctions market and has demonstrated this by investing over £500 million into direct property in the last round of auctions. Despite the fact there has been some uncertainty reported in the media, investors appear to recognise the long-term value in the property sector and continue to pay similar prices for the right properties to those demonstrated in the last quarter.

Lot 16: The Liongate Hotel, Hampton Court Road, Hampton Court, Nr Kingston-Upon-Thames, Surrey The freehold property comprises a 32-bedroom hotel, split over two neighbouring sites, with a combined area of 0.32 acres (0.13 hectares) of land. Located just 200 metres from Hampton Court Palace, the hotel is situated either side of the Hampton Court Road and overlooks Bushy Park on one side and the Royal Palace Gardens on the other.
To the North of the road lies the main hotel building, which is arranged over a basement, ground and three upper floors, and totals 10,441 sq ft (970 sq m). It houses the majority of bedrooms, a conference room and a bar and restaurant.
