London: A life in maps
London: a life in maps is a new exhibition at the British Library's Pearson Gallery which brings to life London's lost lanes and landmarks, parks and palaces, riots and railways, towers and temptations. Maps, views and letters from the British Library collections, bring to life the city's transformation from a Roman outpost to the huge, heaving metropolis of today, and look to the Olympic and post-Olympic future. The exhibition runs until March 2007 and entrance is free.

Admission is £8 or £2 for 8-11 year olds. Under 7's are free.
