Manchester’s newest hotel marks a return to the city for the Crowne Plaza brand.  The 228 room hotel on Shudehill opened on Friday 29th August 2008 after a £32 million investment by Liverpool-based operator Centre Island.

Bob Fairweather, general manager of the hotel said: “We have had a great deal of interest from corporate and leisure clients for conferences and other events and my team and I are looking forward to welcoming them to the hotel. Of course the hotel’s facilities including destination restaurant and bar Glass House and nine conference rooms are also available for people living and working in Manchester and we look forward to welcoming them too.”
