A restaurant with rooms in Mid Wales has been presented with two
prestigious hospitality awards in just one day. The Drawing Room, near the Victorian spa town of Builth Wells, received the Automobile Association’s Restaurant of the Year, Wales award which chef proprietors Colin and Melanie Dawson collected at a ceremony in Cardiff. Six hours later they were in London to be presented with The Good Hotel Guide Cesar award, handed out to just 10 hotels in the UK each year.
