Stunning is the only word to describe this Grade I listed 12th Century castle nestling in the lee of the South Downs, which celebrated its 900th anniversary in 2003. Through the portcullis and 60ft thick walls lie ornamental gardens and dramatic medieval architecture, plus an atmosphere of intimacy and privacy. The scope for creative wedding photography is limitless. The Great Room is licensed (56 seated). Other function rooms include the King Charles Room (12 seated) and the Queen's Room (48 seated). Ceremonies can be held on any day of the week, but must be followed by a reception at the venue. Exclusive hire of this venue includes accommodation and breakfast.
