The Cambridge Cottage Lounge provides a grand, yet intimate, room. With large French windows on two sides, which lead out onto the beautifully landscaped Duke’s Garden, and its grand chandelier, Cambridge Cottage offers the ideal location for a civil wedding ceremony.

The adjoining Kew Gardens Gallery is a stylish bright room that provides a tranquil environment for an elegant wedding reception. Champagne can be sipped on the terrace whilst you are serenaded by a string quartet on the lawn. The French windows can be opened for you and your guests to enjoy the serene view during your evening.

For those unique wedding photographs, there can be no better backdrop than one of the many historic buildings - temples and other follies dating back to the period of Royal ownership of the Gardens in the eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, and world-famous glasshouses – including the Temperate House and Palm House with its beautiful lake and fountain. The Pagoda, Temple of Aeolus, Kew Palace, Princess of Wales Conservatory and The Orangery are just some of the unique architectural features contained within the Gardens.

Cambridge Cottage, a Grade II listed 18th century building, is set in over 300 acres of the famous Kew Gardens. The Lounge is licensed to hold the wedding ceremony, and can accommodate up to 80 guests, seated or standing. Weddings can be held on any day of the week, except between 23rd Dec and 2nd Jan. No confetti.

The Gallery at Cambridge Cottage can house receptions of up to 80 for a seated dinner and 120 for a buffet. The venue has a list of approved caterers. Guests can enjoy an intimate reception here surrounded by an exhibition of fine botanical paintings.
