Party Venue Description: Caverswall Castle has been used for entertaining Kings throughout its long history, and your guests can now enjoy the opportunity to dine like Kings and Queens.
Whatever the occasion, our caterers will work with you to create a sumptuous dining experience (overseen by our very own Butler?).
The Dining Room, adorned by the ornate carving of King John partaking in a wild boar hunt during his visit to the Castle, can seat 22 guests for dinner. The beautifully decorated Ceremonial Hall with gold leaf ceiling and stained glass windows can seat up to 50 guests. For larger numbers the two adjoining Dungeons can seat up to 90 guests in an atmospheric baronial setting, or with a more informal seating arrangement, up to 150 guests can be accommodated.
Reception drinks and canapés can be served in our ornate courtyard overlooking the moat, or for the more adventurous, our Castle battlements, with breathtaking views over the surrounding countryside.
Guests also have use of the cellar Bar, games room with its magnificent 19th century billiards table and our historic reception rooms.
