Chiddingstone Castle, a museum within a squire’s home, hidden in lovely unspoiled Wealden countryside yet only 35 miles from London, was once the seat of the Streatfeilds, and has retained an intimate, timeless appeal through all changes. Now, thanks to Denys Eyre Bower, the Castle is open for the nation to enjoy – for visiting, educational visits, as a wedding and conference venue, and is licensed for civil partnerships.
