The five star Courthouse is a former magistrate’s court located in the heart of London’s premier shopping district. The hotel has retained a number of original features – making it one of London’s most idiosyncratic and unforgettable hotels. Its decadent bar, The Bar, contains booths constructed out of former prison cells. Silk, the hotel’s panAsian destination restaurant, is situated in what was previously the main court room number 1 and still contains the judge’s bench, witness stand and dock. Finally, the lounge lobby is separated from The Bar with an original set of iron prison bars.

The hotel is set next to London’s historic department store, Liberty, and adjacent to the London Palladium, and is within moments of designer shopping Mecca, Bond Street, and has one of the most central locations in the city – many of London’s worldfamous sights can be reached on foot.
