Once frequented by the royal family, the House comes fully staffed and offers luxury comparable to a five-star hotel, but with complete exclusivity. This venue offers a range of in-house entertainment during your visit, and particularly recommends a Scottish banquet, comprising a variety entertainment. It also regularly offers a traditional Burns Supper, featuring the ceremony of the Address to the Haggis, with bagpipe salutes, recitations and drams of whisky. Other popular choices include Scottish harp, accompanied by ancient Celtic mouth music. They can even arrange for a local theatre company to stage a private performance in the House, featuring songs and dancing from shows such as Brigadoon. This venue holds a Wedding Licence for civil ceremonies to be held on its front lawn or inside a marquee. A local minister can also perform this special occasion in the house or outside in the beautiful grounds. During the winter months, you can experience the grand Drawing Room festooned with candles and a roaring log fire. Wedding Reception Text: For a smaller more intimate affair, your Wedding Breakfast can be served in the Dining Room for up to 28 guests or an informal buffet with no set seating can be provided in the house for a maximum of 50 guests.
