The seaside resorts of Woolacombe and Exmouth make for good days out, whilst Crealy Adventure Park, the West Somerset Railway and Paignton or Bristol Zoo make for excellent family fun. The Brendon, Blackdown and Quantock Hills are also accessible, offering some diverse countryside and pretty villages.
