Myres Castle is a private home dating from 1530. It is set in 44 acres, enclosed by a high stone wall, on the edge of the village of Auchtermuchty. Although the castle is fully staffed it is policy to allow guests as much privacy as possible. Meals can be served in the dining room or, for smaller groups in the Victorian family kitchen. Myres does not hold a licence, but alcohol may be purchased from their attendant establishment. All bedrooms have direct dial telephones and a modem for personal computers is available in the study. Shooting, stalking, fishing and hill-walking can all be arranged for your stay. St Andres Golf Course is 25 minutes away, while Edinburgh is one hour away.
