It took five years of hard work to get this lovely house ready for you, our guests, and sometimes it seemed as though it would never happen. Prepare for a lovely surprise when you arrive however; neither this website or our brochure does Newick Park justice.

The house has a wonderful atmosphere, and all the rooms have fabulous views across the surrounding park and countryside, with not even a telegraph pole to blot the landscape. It is also phenomenally peaceful here – there is absolutely no road noise whatsoever – but I confess that the birds can be quite noisy and yes, we do occasionally have to mow the lawns.

The house is full of beautiful antiques, many of which are old family heirlooms, and yet we are right up to date with broadband internet access in all of our bedrooms. Our guests become our friends and tell us it’s not a hotel. It is still a home – our home – and without being too precious about it, we would love you to share it.
