Pentrehobyn Hall is a Grade 1 listed Jacobean Manor just inside Wales, near Chester, and about a mile from the market town of Mold. The house contains a site of historic interest and has unique features. Pentrehobyn was the site of the National Eisteddfod of Wales in 2007.
The house consists of an oak panelled central hall, complete with family portraits, for general entertaining with a drawing-room and dining-room off it. There are four double bedrooms and four bathrooms on the first floor with a further three double bedrooms with two bathrooms on the second floor. We can accommodate up to a total of 14 guests. Pentrehobyn is very much a family house to provide your guests with whatever type of weekend, or stay, they might prefer in unusual historic surroundings and in complete privacy.

Party Rooms Max Capacity: 14 Party Venue Description: The concept of entertaining family or friends in the privacy of a larger private house has become increasingly popular. The key to your stay is the flexibility that this provides; you can do your own catering from the house's fully-equipped kitchen or order individual meals from Pentrehobyn's extensive choice of menus. We also offer pricing options depending on the size of your group, ie either for taking the whole house (up to 14 guests) or for smaller groups up to 8 guests (in 4 bedrooms).
When required, Pentrehobyn can offer a dedicated chef and waitress service for more formal meals. The housekeeper can provide breakfasts and will be on duty every morning, until 12 noon, to attend to beds, laying fires and tidying the house generally.
We can offer a series of activities and places to visit for every morning or afternoon of your stay or, alternatively there is a large-screen television located in the beamed attic on the second floor for screening TV/Sky/DVDs. A selection of board games is also available in the drawing room. A range of daily newspapers is always provided.
Planning ahead of your visit is always recommended so that, as host, you can outline the programme of events that has been arranged for your guests. The same applies to meals; we recommend a combination of set menus cooked by the our chef team with, for example, self-catered lunches.
