This is a 13.5 mile long unique tourist railway and the world’s smallest public railway. It was built as a millionaire’s toy in 1927 and now carries over 150,000 passengers a year. Along the line there are 6 stations, two cafes (at New Romney and Dungeness), picnic areas, steam and deisel hauled trains, a toy and model museum and other attractions.
