This 17th Century manor house is still lived in the by decendants of John Warde, who purchased the house in 1731. The house features a fine collection of Old Master paintings from the Italian, 17th Century Dutch and 18th Century English schools, as well as furniture, procelain and tapestries. The house is set in attractive gardens with spring bulbs, herbaceous borders and old roses. Functions are held in a marquee at this venue.

Marquee wedding receptions on the grass behind the parterre. Facility fee of £1800.00 plus VAT for hire of grounds from 2.00pm until 11.45pm. Includes electricity, use of outside toilets (3 ladies, 2 gents), security/car park attendant, access to water for caterers and floodlighting the garden after dark. Ample parking for wedding guests on the gravel forecourt and the grass above the lake. Marquee and catering the responsibility of the hirer.
