Located in the heart of the Cotswolds and set in gardens an 1200 acres of parkland, Sudeley Castle is home to Lord and Lady Ashcombe, has royal connections going back over 1000 years and was once the palace of Queen Katherine Parr. Ê Sudeley Castle Country Cottages are located on the edge of the estate, midway between the Castle and the historic town of Winchcombe. This small attractive complex of Cotswold stone cottages is set around a central courtyard with landscaped gardens and ample parking. The Castle itself offers several function rooms including the Banqueting Hall, with high ceilings, exposed beams and open fire, and the Chandos Hall, a converted Georgian smithy. The Library is also available for a limited number of special occasions each year.
