As a family-run business, A Day in the Country offers a very personal and specialised service to clients, and it's Directors have a wealth of experience as Event Managers. A Day in the Country prides itself on being able to organise any event to suit precise requirements, and is renowned for it's standards of service and attention to the smallest detail from organising a major product launch to a small conference, A Day in the Country is an ideal venue for conferences, activity days, team building, training and development days, client entertainment, staff day out's and corporate hospitality. The venue is set in a 250 acre estate, featuring three trout lakes surrounded by woodland. The hospitality area and conference suite are housed in a magnificent 17th century barn, which has been sympathetically converted to offer the best of both worlds; open log fires combine with the sophistication of a modern conference and hospitality suite. Activities range from, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Field Archery, Air Pistol Shooting, Rage Buggies, 4x4 Land Rover Driving, Tractor Driving, Polo, Falconry, Gnat Shooting to Team Building Exercises and our newly developed Ropes Course.
